The Travel Photos - Ireland! In late December 2011, I visited the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, spending one week at each location. Beautiful scenery, gracious people. I wanted to experience the Newgrange passage tomb in County Meath, Ireland, and Giant's Causeway in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. I stayed in each location long enough to be able to visit both places more than once. The weather was mild, windy, rainy, and cold, one brief snow flurry while I was in Northern Ireland.
